Contacting us
When you contact us via a form on the website or via e-mail, the data that you give us will be used to process your request. We will not pass on this data to third parties without your approval, unless we use the services of a processor. And if we use the services of a processor, we remain responsible for your data.
Such data processing is necessary in order to fulfill a contract or carry out pre-contract measures. (Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b DSGVO)
Display of the website/Statistical evaluation
If you visit our websites, our web servers record every visit in a protocol file. Some of the following data are recorded:
The reason for processing this data is to facilitate the use of the website (e.g. establishment of the connection, display of the website), system security, the technical administration of the network infrastructure, and the optimization of our internet offering. The IP address is only evaluated in case of need – e.g. during research into attacks. Personal user profiles are not created. By visiting the website you are conclusively agreeing to the above-mentioned processing. (Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a DSGVO)
Cookies
Our website uses cookies. These are small text data that are placed on your device with the help of the browser. They cause no damage to your device.
Only session cookies are used. These are temporary cookies that are only set during your use of the website. These cookies are not used to collect data. They only serve the purposes of session management, e.g. for the optimization of the display of pages and navigation. If cookies are deactivated, the functionality of our website can be restricted.
Google Analytics
Our website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc. (“Google”), 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. This means that cookies are used that facilitate the analysis of user behavior on the website.
The data about the use of the website that are created, including the IP address of the user, are transferred to a Google server in the USA, where they are stored for three months. The IP address is anonymised by Google within the European Union and the European Economic Area. The activation of IP anonymisation is standard on our website.
A reasonability decision of the European Commission regarding the transfer of personal data to the USA has been presented to Google LLC.
The data transferred to Google is used to draw up reports about activity on the website on our behalf. It is possible that Google passes on this data to processors if it uses the service of processors or if it is legally required to do so.
You can stop the collection of the data created by the cookie about your use of the website or the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin that is available via this link:

Alternatively, you can stop the collection of your data by Google Analytics by clicking on the following link. This will set an opt-out cookie that stops the collection of your data during future visits. You can deactivate Google Analytics [TF1] via the following link. You can find more information about data protection in connection with Google Analytics at: https://www.google.com/analytics/learn/privacy.html?hl=en
You can prevent the saving of cookies in your internet browser software, but this can lead to a restriction in the functionality of our website.
Flockler
We use Flockler, a social media aggregator tool, to curate social media feeds and showcase content that we believe is relevant and inspiring for you. Flockler does not store any information about your visit. However, depending on the platform, social media services may store information about you if you choose to interact with the content (e.g., play a video or visit our social media profile page).
Google Maps
We use Google Maps from Google Inc., in order to improve our client services. This external content is incorporated into our site using IFRAME. You can find more information about data protection, data, and security at privacy.google.com or in Google’s Data Protection Guidelines. In addition to this, you can make a data protection request regarding Google Maps API via this form.[TF2]
Video plugins
Our internet page includes plugins from YouTube, Google Inc. / San Bruno/California, USA or similar providers. If you visit a page that is part of our internet presence and equipped with video plugins, a connection to the external servers of this provider will be created. As part of this process, the external server will be told which particular page that forms part of our internet presence was visited by you. If you are logged into your video account, this provider can directly connect your surfing behavior with your personal profile. If you want to prevent this, please log out beforehand. You can find further information about the collection and use of your data by YouTube in the data protection information at www.youtube.com.
Social media plugins
Social media plugins (interfaces with social networks) are used on our website. When you visit the website, the system automatically establishes a connection with the specific social network and transfers data (e.g. IP address, information about the visit to the website, etc.).
This data is transferred without our input and is outside our area of responsibility. You can stop this data being transferred by logging out from the relevant social network before visiting the website. The social network can only assign specific data to your profile via automatic data transfer if you are logged on.
We do not use this automatically transferred data. You can find further information about the collection and protection of data on the website of the relevant social network.
